Special Events

The Office of Special Events coordinates and produces a variety of events on and off campus that recognize, thank, congratulate and celebrate special people and moments in the life of the University.  In this way we help support and cultivate enduring relationships with NKU faculty, staff, students, alumni and the Northern Kentucky community.

Annual events include two Commencement ceremonies that celebrate the success of our graduating students and the Lincoln Award Dinner which recognizes individuals who have had a tremendous and positive influence on their community and the people who live there.  Other types of events include building groundbreakings, dedications and donor gift recognition events.  We also partner with community organizations to produce public interest events such as political debates and forums.
